Constitution

Article #1 - Name

This Association shall be known as the Capital City Jaguars Youth Sports Association and consist of an Honorary Board, Officers, Coaches and general members, meeting and acting as one body.

Article #2 - Purpose

That the purpose of the Capital City Jaguars Youth Sports Association (CCJYSA) shall be to provide football, cheerleading, baseball and basketball to resident youths of the Deshler Park, Driving Park, Koebel Elementary and Southfield Community. We will also focus on elevating in stature, all athletes and cheerleaders, by means of recognition and support.

Article #3 - Membership

Membership in the CCJYSA will be for responsible adults, including parents/guardians, family members and friends of the cheerleaders and athletes. All members shall be legitimized, by submitting a signed copy of the Roles & Responsibility Form, for the particular position(s).

Article #4 - Officers

The Officers of the CCJYSA shall be limited to members, who show the necessary dedication to meet and exceed the expectations for the position(s) held. Most notably, these positions are: Honorary Board Members, President, Vice-President, Treasurer, Athletic Coordinator, Cheerleading Coordinator, Secretary and Head Coaches.

Article #5 - Governship

The Officers shall govern and make all decisions regarding the entire CCJYSA. Input from the quorum at all meetings will be taken into consideration, before the CCJYSA makes a decision.

Article #6 - Meeting & Quorum

Section I - Regular meetings shall be held once a month, as deemed necessary by the CCJYSA. Date and location dependent on schedule.

Section II - Special meetings may be called.

Section III - At least three (3) members of the CCJYSA, in good standing, shall constitute a quorum for the transaction of business.

Article #7 - Amendments to Constitution

This constitution may be amended at any meeting of the CCJYSA, by a two-thirds (2/3rds) vote, as long as a quorum is present.
